Acclaimed countertenor Christopher Fritzsche and members of the Live Oak Baroque Orchestra led by renowned violinist Elizabeth Blumenstock perform vocal and instrumental works by Henry Purcell and JS Bach, including a trio sonata from Bach's legendary Musical Offering.

The springtime feast of Corpus Christi was the occasion or the most famous mass by the most famous composer of the Renaissance: the "Missa Pange Lingua" by Josquin des Prez, written in the early 1500s. A century later, Claudio Monteverdi harkened back to the Renaissance with his masterful "Missa in Illo Tempore." Circa 1600 performs both of these magnificent works a cappella.
