Title Page, Liber Usualis

Join Amanda in listening to Maurice Duruflé's Requiem Mass (1947) and the chant that inspired the work.
Through masterful composition and arrangement, Duruflé brings the chant to life, sometimes in its original form sometimes in bits and pieces, while also exploring the modern French color palette inspired by the traditions of the Catholic church and by composers like Gabriel Fauré.
