Ready, Set, Sing!
Healthy Vocal Production in Choral and Solo Singing
Dates: Please note that the dates have changed. There is now no class on the 15th. Instead the classes meet on Mondays, July 1, 8, 22, & 29.
Time: 7-9:30pm
Location: St. John's Episcopal Church, Petaluma
Registration Note: Online registration is required and will open in May.
This popular class, taught by Chanticleer alum Justin Montigne, focuses on improving individual technique in the context of choral and solo singing. Designed for a range of singers from beginning to experienced levels, each session includes work on foundational as well as advanced technical concepts. The class is limited to 18 students in order to give participants more individual attention.

All participants will leave with a new understanding of their own instrument as well as tools and exercises designed specifically for them. Participants are encouraged to bring questions about vocal technique as well as specific vocal challenges to be worked on and improved in class.

Midsummer Night Sings
Dates: Wednesdays, July 10, 17, 24, 31
Time: 7:00PM - 9:30PM
Location: United Church of Christ, Petaluma
Sonoma County's popular summer choral series! Join us in a unique experience of singing great choral masterworks, led by some of the Bay Area’s finest choral conductors.
Each session features a noted conductor working through one or more great works with a group of local singers ranging in size from 40-80 voices.This summer's conductors are: David Irvine (Sonoma Valley Chorale), Boyd Jarrell (College of Marin), Magen Solomon (San Francisco Choral Artists), and Robert Worth (Sonoma Bach).
Don't miss the opportunity to acquaint yourself--or reacquaint yourself-- with these great works. There is no need to register or sign up in advance.
