Easter Oratorio

The first version of Bach's Easter Oratorio was completed for Easter Sunday in Leipzig in April of 1725. This piece features a festive Easter orchestra including trumpets, timpani, oboes, recorders, flutes, violins, viola and continuo.  Join me to celebrate this Easter with our namesake, J.S. Bach.
