Green Mountain Consort

Sonoma Bach's Green Mountain Consort was founded as a one-on-a-part vocal ensemble, specializing in the exquisite repertoire of Renaissance and Baroque. Each season, Green Mountain Consort plays a central role in Sonoma Bach's Sacred Realms concert series, which is held in the beautifully domed and frescoed St. Seraphim Orthodox Church. The ensemble focuses on sacred masterworks, often uncovering hidden gems from Renaissance composers, offering audiences an intimate and profound experience of the era’s rich choral traditions. The serene, resonant acoustics and beautiful frescoes of St. Seraphim elevate their performances, making each concert a deeply moving experience. The Green Mountain Consort’s dedication to the Renaissance repertoire makes it a cornerstone of Sonoma Bach’s mission to preserve and celebrate the legacy of early sacred music.
