During the Coronavirus pandemic, Sonoma Bach is striving for new ways to bring together and nurture our community of music-lovers to share in the magnificent experience of early music. We believe passionately in the power of music to join us together, to help us to acknowledge and bind our wounds, and to serve as a catalyst for positive change both within us and without.  Through these difficult times, Sonoma Bach will offer a variety of opportunities for remote learning, exploration and music-making for our community and beyond. Our instructional videos, online workshops, singing and recording projects, and virtual BachTalks will focus upon four broad areas: Individual skills; ensemble skills; knowledge of repertoire; and ‘the big picture’:  What does it all mean, and how can I connect?

Please explore our offerings through the links below, and don’t hesitate to contact us if you have any questions or suggestions about how we can be more effective and helpful. We of course yearn most fervently for the day when we can return to real, live rehearsals and performances—but we hope that in the interim we can all stay connected and maintain (or even expand) our skills, our knowledge, our understanding, and our enthusiasm for the art-form we love so much.
