Timeless Women
Saturday, October 15th, 2022

This session will focus on pieces written for mixed voices by women composers. We will sing through, listen to, and discuss a variety of compositions from the earliest choral works up to the modern day by a selected mix of composers. We will dig into works by Maddalena Casulana, Vittoria Aleotti, Clara Schumann, Undine Smith Moore, Cecilia McDowall, and much more. All voice parts are welcome and encouraged to join us to look at (and sing!) this music. You will walk away with a renewed excitement to pursue, sing, share, and listen to music from these composers.
